Every year different themes are discussed while this year’s theme is “Innovation for a sustainable ocean.” Social media users shared several videos to commemorate this special day.
Here’s one footage where a fish escapes the “jaws of death.” The dolphin can be seen continuously tossing the fish however the lucky one got away with some mild marks on the side.

World Oceans Day is celebrated worldwide by launching campaigns, aquatic and beach clean-ups, conservation programs, conducting seafood events, special events at aquariums, and so on. It was in December 2008 that the UN General Assembly passed a declaration to officially recognize this day.
