Fans are Loving Barbie and Ken in The Second Trailer of ‘Barbie’

The second trailer of the much awaited movie ‘Barbie’ was released recently. The trailer is captivating and will take you to Barbie’s vibrant and colourful world. An imaginary world that seems to be filled with fun, laughter and friends!

In ‘Barbie’ the doll gets a 3D makeover. The film features Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken.

The trailer focuses on Ken and Barbie’s sweet camaraderie.

In the opening scene, Barbie is seen walking in pink high heels. As she slips her delicate feet out of the heels, she begins to walk on tiptoes. Her feet are just exactly how the Mattel doll’s feet are in reality.

This particular scene has received a lot of attention from viewers.

Chrissy Teigen wrote, “I need to know everything about this shot. How many takes, if she held onto something, was she harnessed, is the landing mark sticky, are they her feet, who did the pedicure, really just a documentary on this shot.”

“Why was this the most genius shot I've ever seen,” another wrote.

The Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird, Little Women) directed film will also feature Dua Lipa, Emma Mackey, Will Ferrell, and Helen Mirren.

Greta has also co-written the script along with Noah Baumbach.

Buzz is that British Pop star Dua Lipa is going to appear as a mermaid in the film. Fans are going gaga on hearing this piece of news.

It is being speculated that John Cena will also be part of the film although he does not appear in the trailer.

The plot of the movie is kept under wraps as of now. Some reports suggest that Barbie is kicked out of “Barbie Land” for not being the perfect doll. She sets out for the “human land” to find ultimate happiness. It is the first live-action Barbie film after several animated direct-to-video and streaming television films.

Keeping in mind Greta’s previous work such as ‘Little Women’ and ‘Lady Bird’, there are high expectations from this film too. ‘Barbie’ hits theatres on July 21, 2023.
