Fake Doctor Kills Teen as He Relied on YouTube for Surgery
The teenager was killed as the doctors performed surgery without any consent through YouTube. FIR lodged.
Imagine you have a health ailment and approach a doctor only to find out he is fake and rely on online resources to suggest health advice. In an even more shocking incident, a Doctor in Bihar allegedly killed a teen while operating a stone from a gall bladder.
After the false operation, the boy’s health condition deteriorated. It was then, he was transferred to Patna by the doctors that performed the initial operations. The teen was claimed dead upon reaching the hospital.
The doctors abandoned the body and escaped the scene, claimed by the family of the teen boy. The parents further claimed that they had taken the boy to Ganpati Hospital which is situated in Saran as he vomited multiple times. "We admitted him and the vomiting stopped soon after. But the doctor Ajit Kumar Puri said he needed to be operated upon. He conducted the operation by watching videos on YouTube. My son died later,"
The family members further disclosed that they did not assess the doctor's genuineness as they were in an emergency and did not bother to look for any such challenge. The grandfather of the teenager claimed that he was feeling. "But the doctor sent the father away on an errand and started operating on the boy without the family's consent. The boy was in pain. When we asked the doctor why he was in pain, he snapped at us and asked if we were doctors. Later in the evening, the boy stopped breathing. He was revived (with CPR) and then rushed to Patna. He died on the way. They left the boy's body on the stairs of the hospital and fled".
