Expired Food Served on The Gorapkhpur-Bengaluru Flight. Airline Responds
Sunday witnessed two major incidents, the Gorakhpur-Varanasi flight gets inferior quality food served and the Delhi-Varanasi flight faced an AC malfunction
On Sunday, a passenger traveling on Gorakhpur-Bengaluru Akasa Air raised concerns about the inferior quality of the food packets. The airline issued a statement claiming that the quality standards of the food packets did not meet expectations. The statement said, “inadvertently served refreshments that did not meet the quality standards.”
The airline further apologized to the passengers and also issued a probe into the matter. The matter came to light when one of the passengers took to social media channels where they uploaded the images and stated about the poor food quality. The airline immediately responded to complaints and apologized to the passengers.
One of the spokespeople from Akasa Airways claimed “Upon preliminary investigation, it was found that a few passengers were inadvertently served refreshments that did not meet our quality standards,” It further added, "We are in touch with the passenger concerned and are undertaking a detailed investigation to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future."
Yet another incident emerged in the Delhi-Varanasi flight where the Air Conditioning system malfunctioned leading to very less air within the cabin. This had put the passenger in an extremely uncomfortable situation. Many passengers also fainted because of excessive heat within the cabin.
Indigo rejected the claim of passengers where they mentioned the AC failure. However, it apologized to the passengers for the inconvenience, claiming, that temperatures were adjusted after the passengers' request.
