Distance Could Be The Real Reason For Jennifer Aniston And Justin Theroux’s Break-Up

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have released a joint statement, announcing that they have separated late last year. The statement said that the decision was made mutually and lovingly. It read “We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship."

This was Theroux’s first marriage and Aniston’s second marriage. Previously Jennifer Aniston was married to Brad Pitt for five years. Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were friendly over seven years before tying the knot. The couple began dating in 2008, and got engaged in August 2012. They got married in August 2015. After which, they spend two and a half years as husband and wife before announcing their separation.

If speculations are to be believed, the couple broke up because of distance. Jennifer Aniston was not comfortable staying in New York and this is where Justin spent most of his time with his close friends. Jennifer is more of a Los Angeles girl. The couple spent a lot of time apart in their favourite cities and that’s what caused the drift, according to a source who told US Weekly.

Another source said “Jennifer is more comfortable in Los Angeles with her close-knit group of friends, but Justin doesn’t feel as at home in LA, nor with Jennifer’s friends, he loves New York, and the edgier crowd in the city.”

Another factor that could have put a strain on their relationship is that Justin’s career has been very busy with his upcoming films like ‘On the Basis of Sex’, ‘Mute’ and ‘The Spy Who Dumped Me’, however Jennifer is taking on only a few big projects.

Jennifer Aniston, 49, has been keeping busy post the split. She recently celebrated her 49th birthday amidst her close friends on February 11th.  Though the split comes as a shock to her fans, the good thing is that the couple have decided to part amicably and decided to remain good friends.  Jennifer Aniston will soon be seen in her next comedy movie called ‘Dumplin’.
