India is competing at the 2022 Commonwealth Games at Birmingham, England from 28 July to 8 August 2022. It is India's eighteenth appearance at the Commonwealth Games. Squash player Anahat Singh turned into the most youthful Indian competitor to compete at the Commonwealth Games at only 14 years old. India's most memorable decoration of the Games was dominated by Sanket Sargar with a silver in weightlifting.

Weightlifter Achinta Sheuli Confirms gold with a record all out lift of 313kg

Sanket Sargar wins silver in weightlifting

India's Sanket Sargar won a silver decoration in the men's 55kg weightlifting occasion. Malaysia's Aniq Mohamad took gold with a dazzling completion in the occasion.
