ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft is fully prepared to achieve a lunar south pole landing at 6:04 pm this Wednesday. This comes just days after a Russian mission attempting a similar landing ended in failure.
On the event of Chandrayaan 3 landing on the moon, the nation is celebrating and praying for its smooth and soft landing.
According to ISRO, Chandrayaan 3 is going to land on the lunar south pole at 6:04 pm on Wednesday.
Uttar Pradesh has ordered schools to hold screenings of the special event.
In Gujarat, the Science and Technology council has invited over 2000 students to witness the historic moment.
Even prayer ceremonies are being held all over the world for the success of the mission.
Students are making projects on the spaceship while there are others who are dressing up as the moon.
They are singing special songs on this occasion and standing with best wishes placards.
Fresh images of the moon captured by a LPDC were released by ISRO on August 19.
If Chandrayaan 3 makes a smooth landing, India will be the fourth country to achieve this feat.
Rover Pragyaan will come out of the lander and will move around the moon’s surface.
Systems are in place and the mission is on schedule.
All eyes are on this historic moment and every Indian is waiting in anticipation for the glorious moment.
