Imagine being refused by the groom as one of those working in the Private sector, in a piece of shocking news, A bride refused to marry a groom as he was working in a private sector with a 1.2 lakhs salary per month. The decision was made after var mala was over which is a Hindu ritual where the groom and bride exchange garlands.
The bride had believed that the groom had a Government job but in the middle of the wedding, she was informed that the groom had a private job. The wedding rituals were left incomplete and the procession had to return without the bride. The incident happened in Farukkhabad.
The groom belonged to Balrampur which is a native city in Chhattisgarh. The groom was working in the private sector where he earned close to 1.2 lakhs a month. Not only this, but the family had close to 20 bighas of land.
Despite both sides' family resolutions, the bride was struck with the decision not to get married as she was sure that the groom was a government employee. The groom left no stone unturned as he also provided the payslip to the family of the bride as a piece of evidence.
Lastly, the family settled the expenses that were spent during the procession and for the arrangement of the wedding. This act shows the job insecurity people suffer from as it is believed that government employees have a strong backup and are highly secure in their job.
