The cricketer went ahead and shared the picture on his Twitter account and sent good wishes to both of them for their upcoming venture.
Brett Lee’s tryst with Indian movies and Indian film stars is not new. He has acted in an Indo-Australian rom-com ‘UnIndian’ with several Indian actors such as Gulshan Grover and Tannishtha Chatterjee.
‘Unindian’ follows the story of an Indian single mother Meera (Tannishtha) and an Australian teacher Will (Lee). The two of them fall in love and they encounter challenges due to cultural and family differences. ‘UnIndian’ did pretty well at the box office too.
When asked whether he would act in any Bollywood film in the future, Lee said that he was interested but he cannot confirm the same as now he’s preoccupied with the upcoming World Cup.
Brett Lee has admitted that he’s a big fan of ‘King Khan.’ He watches all of his movies and even though he may not be able to understand the language completely, he does understand the story of the film.
It is evident that the cricket legend has a penchant for Indian movies and thus there are high chances that the legend may appear in another Bollywood flick.
Besides his bowling skills, the bowling legend scores brownie points for his devotion towards wife Lana Anderson. When asked with whom he’d like to be paired with in a romantic film, he replied that he wouldn’t want to romance anyone other than his wife Lana Anderson. He summed it all up in these three simple words, “Ek Sundar Ladki.”
