Biden And Modi Talk About The Hindu Safety in Bangladesh

Global unrest and frequent wars are being witnessed. PM Modi and Joe Biden met to discuss Kyiv's events. PM Modi expressed his support and encouragement for an early peace settlement, during the conversation. Joe Biden also addressed the unrest in Bangladesh and urged Biden to support safeguarding the of Bangladeshi Muslims. He stressed on regaining law and order in Bangladesh.

The conversation took place before a quad meeting which is supposed to be hosted in New York. India is also prioritizing the safety of Bangladeshi Hindus. Mohammed Yunus, Chief Advisor of Bangladesh resorted to X and made a statement where he urged for Bangladeshi Hindu’s safety. He also claimed that the attacks on Hindus is exaggerated.

“We had a detailed exchange of views on various regional and Global issues, including the situation in Ukraine. I reiterate India’s full support for the early return of peace and stability. We also discussed the situation in Bangladesh and stressed on the need for early restoration of normalcy, and to ensure the safety and security of minorities, especially Hindus, in Bangladesh” claimed PM Modi.

The West has been facing challenges since the inception of the war. A Russian attack was also made on the day PM Modi landed in Moscow for the third row of NATO meeting. He was extremely disheartened to see such events and urged immediate restriction on the war. The white house also dictated the helpfulness of PM Modi’s visit.
