Sourav Ganguly kept the entire nation on its toes when he was admitted to the Woodlands hospital, after he complained of feeling uneasy while working out at the gym in his residence in Kolkata. Several tests were conducted which confirmed that the former Indian captain and current BCCI chief suffered mild heart attack and had 3 blocked coronary arteries.
On the first day of the third test between India and Australia in Sydney, the BCCI posted an update on Twitter to say Mr. Ganguly had been released from the hospital.
"I thank the doctors at the hospital for the treatment,’’ Ganguly was quoted as saying in the BCCI post. "I am absolutely fine. Hopefully, I will be ready to fly soon," he added.
