Baba Siddique Shot Dead in Mumbai. Nation Deals with Shock

The nation is shocked and mourning the death of NCP member Baba Siddique. Two unidentified people killed Baba Siddique, a highly known politician. He was busy bursting crackers outside his office in Bandra. CM Eknath Shinde confirmed that the accused have been arrested.

“Mumbai police chief told me two persons have been arrested. One is from UP, the other from Haryana. The third assailant is absconding but police are trying to nab him,” claimed CM Eknath Shinde.

According to the sources, the incident happened around 9:15 and 9:20 when Baba was bursting crackers outside the office of his son Zeeshan. The assailants arrived in a car with faces covered with white cloth and opened fire on Baba. He fell with bullets in his chest and stomach which caused excessive bleeding. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital where he succumbed to his injury.

Siddique had great connections and recognition in the Hindi Film Industry and was a close friend of popular actors such as Salman Khan. He was also the third-time elected MLA from the Bandra constituency. Being an ex-member of Congress, he joined NCP this year.

“Shocked to hear about Shri Baba Siddique being shot dead. I condolences to @zeeshan_iyc, wishing him and his family strength in their toughest moment. This lawlessness in the city is unacceptable and should be probed by CBI,” claims, Priyanka Chaturvedi, Shiv Sena leader.

In a new twist, it is assumed that the Gang members of Lawrence Bishnoi are the prime accused and responsible for killing the NCP leader. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang was apprehended previously when they tried to attack Salman Khan and his father. Further investigation on the matter is yet to be done.
