Avaya Appoints Sanjay Pai as the Indian Regional Sales Leader

NYSE-listed Avaya Holdings Corp. on Thursday announced the appointment of Sanjay Pai, as the Regional Sales Director for the India market. In this role, Sanjay will be reporting to Vishal Agrawal, Managing Director, Avaya, India & SAARC, and will be responsible for leading the north and east markets for Avaya India.

Sanjay Pai, Regional Sales Lead, Avaya India, said that he is eager to work closely with customers and a very talented Avaya team in leading Avaya’s sales for the India market. He said that Avaya’s massive installed base along with the ability to penetrate new markets and add new customers, presents an unparalleled opportunity to extend our footprint as a major force in both Unified Communications and Contact Centre solutions. Sanjay brings in over two decades of experience in sales and business development, coupled with the right technical knowledge. He has held leadership roles in organizations such as Genesys and Alcatel Lucent Enterprise. Sanjay was earlier associated with Avaya in the capacity of Solutions Lead, Service Provider Division at Avaya Australia Pty. Ltd. from 2005 ­to 2006.
