Aryan Khan’s Bail Plea Rejected by Mumbai Court

The special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances court (NDPS) heard Aryan Khan’s bail plea today. Aryan’s bail order however was rejected.
Aryan Khan and 7 others were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after a raid on Cordelia cruise ship on October 3.
Since then 23-year-old Aryan has been in custody for two weeks. He will continue to remain in Arthur jail in Mumbai.
Aryan Khan’s bail plea hearing was at serial number 22 on the list of hearings.
Lawyer Amit Desai who is representing Aryan Khan told reporters: “We have not been told the grounds on which our bail plea was rejected.”
He would most likely move the Bombay High Court.
The other accused- Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha’s bail pleas have also been rejected.
The special NDPS court will pronounce a detailed order on the rejection of Aryan Khan’s bail plea.
Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani and security head Ravi Singh were seen leaving for the sessions court prior to Aryan Khan’s bail hearing.
In the last hearing NCB claimed in court that although no drugs were recovered from Aryan Khan, there are Whatsapp chats to prove that he has links with drug peddlers.
“The present applicant (Aryan) is not a consumer for the first time. The evidence placed before the court shows that he is a regular consumer of contraband for the last few years”, said Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Anil Singh from NCB.
Meanwhile fans gathered outside Shah Rukh Khan’s residence ‘Mannat’ hoping the order would be in favour of Aryan Khan.
