Army Dog Phantom Laid to Rest After Terror Attack in Jammu and Kashmir

Army dogs are recruited into the armed forces for various purposes. However, their key purpose is to sense different types of explosives and narcotics materials. Army dogs are loved, cared and appreciated for their service. A popular Army dog Phantom was killed in the terror attack on the military vehicle near Aknoor. Phantom was traveling in a Military vehicle when terrorists attacked the vehicle.

A search operation was performed in the Sunderbani district after the military vehicle was attacked. No fatalities have been reported apart from the death of the dog Phantom. Light combat vehicles have been deployed to ensure the region's safety and easy inspection of the hideouts.
