Are Brad Pitt And Neri Oxman Friends?

Actor Brad Pitt has been seen hanging around with esteemed MIT Professor – Neri Oxman lately. He was seen attending one of her classes in November and according to new reports the couple are “quietly dating.”

A source close to the actor told ‘US Weekly’, that a romance is blossoming between the pair. The source said that "Brad’s absolutely smitten by her” and “their chemistry is off the charts." Though reports of their romance were confirmed last week, new reports suggest that the couple have been dating since last year.

How did they meet?

The pair reportedly met through an architectural project that Pitt was working on at MIT and the lovely duo shared the same passion for design and art. "They got romantically involved almost right away," the ‘Us’ insider added. Brad attended one of her classes in November and other enthusiastic students clicked photos with him. The photo was uploaded on social media while the caption read “Ocean’s Six.” A second photo where Brad was seen standing next to the professor was taken down.

Who is Neri Oxman?

This beautiful and highly intellectual woman has undoubtedly made a mark for herself in a male-dominated field. She has many accolades to her credit. The professor was born to an American father and an Israeli mother and promptly fulfilled her duty of attending the military service in Israel. After she completed her studies in Jerusalem and London, she started working in MIT under the guidance of renowned design theoretician, Professor William J. Mitchell. Amongst her most beautiful creations, she and her team created a robotic arm to demonstrate how silkworms deposit silk while building cocoons. 6500 silkworms were used for this. Her captivating work is on permanent display at the Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian Institution, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Boston Museum of Science and so on.

Oxman was previously married to Argentine composer Osvaldo Golijov in 2011 however they soon parted ways. Oxman said that he had an “incredible influence” on her work but didn’t reveal anything further than that.

This is the first time Brad Pitt has been linked to someone since his divorce with  Angelina Jolie in 2016. He was previously linked to Sienna Miller, however, there were only rumors doing the rounds. Only time will tell whether the growing friendship between the pair will transform into a real relationship.
