Anthony Hopkins Shakes up Twitter with His ‘Over-Work’ Dance Moves

Sir Anthony Hopkins, still remembered for his outstanding performance in ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ has recently shaken up the Twitter world with his mind-boggling dance moves. According to him, it is a symptom of ‘over-work’.

We’ve all heard of the proverb, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. What we didn’t know that over-work can affect cannibalistic serial killer Dr. Hannibal Lecter too. Academy Award winner Sir Anthony Hopkins has uploaded a video of his own on Twitter yesterday. It’s a ‘disturbing’ dance video where the legendary actor is wagging back and forth. The 80-year-old living legend captioned the video as, “This is what happens when you’re all work and no play…”

While the purpose of the video is not clear, most of his followers are finding it scary. In fact, the 1991 horror/crime drama, The Silence of the Lambs that won Sir Hopkins an Oscar for his appalling on-screen role is often attributed by his Twitter fans in the video retweets.

Some are blatantly saying that the video is even scarier than his movie character. The ‘Hannibal’ star whose last post before the video was an Easter wish, is on the verge of giving “nightmares” to one of his followers.

“Is it just me, or is this scaring the crap out of anyone else? I’m going to have nightmares of a stressed-out Hannibal Lecter, snapping from “over-work”!” said the one.

Another follower retweeted, “Freeze all motor functions”.

But not all find it scary or perturbing. One follower defines it as, “The best 32 seconds of my life.”

The background music of Anthony Hopkins’ Twitter dance video is extracted from ‘Composer’, a classical album released in 2012 which has compositions written by Sir Hopkins himself.

Dressed in black, Sir Anthony Hopkins’ bizarre moves and his funny faces is undoubtedly extraordinary, hilarious and something that suits the legend only.
