‘Love Aaj Kal 2’ Poster Goes Viral across Social Media, Sara Succeeds Father Saif

Makers have dropped the first look poster of one of the most anticipated sequels of 2020, ‘Love Aaj Kal 2’, and to your delight daughter Sara Ali Khan has succeeded father Saif Ali Khan in this upcoming romantic drama.

Both the mass and media, are always excited about an Imtiaz Ali film, and this time the excitement is double of course, as the acclaimed director is bringing back the 2nd installment of a most celebrated film of his, ‘Love Aaj Kal 2’!

But, dear folks, that’s not the only reason why your heart has already started jumping within your rib cage! Well, Saif, who gave an outstanding double roll performance in the original version, as the male lead, hardly, might have ever imagined, daughter Sara would appear as the female protagonist in its sequel. And last but not the least, rom-com hit-machine Kartik Aryan is Sara’s on-screen sweetheart… woo, how sweet!

‘Love Aaj Kal 2’ names its leading pair as Veer and Zoe! Interestingly, Saif’s one of the characters in the original one was also called Veer. Basically, ‘Love Aaj Kal’(2009) runs on two plots parallely, and one complements the other. Two love stories, set in two different ages, capture the experiences, challenges in love relationships, and how the lovers deal with it. 

Starring Deepika Padukone as the leading lady, The film intends to express, no matter how differently two hearts in love might convey their feelings, how unique the in-between chemistry might be, the intensity, the heartbreaks, the struggles, remain the same.

‘Love Aaj Kal 2’ hits the theatres on 14 February, 2020.
