Ariana Grande’s New Single Is Released and It’s Titled ‘God Is a Woman’

Fans of Ariana Grande would be excited to know that her long-awaited song ‘God Is A Woman’ has been released finally. The song started trending on Twitter immediately because of its catchy title and provoking lyrics.

The song has released a week ahead of its scheduled time and has hit all digital musical services. The singer chose to break superstitions when she chose to share the song on Friday the 13th. The song was scheduled to be released on July 20th from the highly anticipated studio album ‘Sweetner.’

Ariana Grande explained that the song has a lot to do with "sexual female empowerment and how women are literally everything and the universe is inside of us.” The song is slower paced than her previous single ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ and has a deep sensual bass beat.

In an interview with TIME, it was revealed that the singer’s voice was layered in this song and it sounds like a choir but it’s actually her own voice multiplied several times. The singer first teased the lyrics of the song on Twitter and then began interacting with her Twitter followers in the famed Ariana style. As soon as the song hit Twitter, it began trending not only because it was Ariana’s song but also because of the controversial lyrics of the song.

Though the title of the song suggests that the track would probably be related to God and all things divine but it turns out that the song is sultry in its content. One follower on Twitter even commented that she thought that the song had something to do with empowerment. This track would be considered the young artist’s steamiest track. Prior to ‘God Is A Woman’, Ariana shared her collaboration with Nicki Minaj called ‘The Light Is Coming’ on June 20 and the well known single ‘No Tears To Cry.’ The Album ‘Sweetner’ is all set to be released on August 17 unless of course, Ariana Grande changes her mind again.
